Homemade Pizza Dough - Selbstgemachter Pizzateig

When we still lived in Europe, I would grave american food, regret that none of my favourite restaurants had a franchise on my side of the world and have a list of stuff I wanted to eat on our next trip. Now I find that I love homemade food best and keep piling up ideas (not so say that my pinterest board on food is evergrowing).

Here is my favourite pizza receipe:

For a large rectangle pizza you will need:
3 tablespoons of dry yeast
1/2 teaspoon of sugar
180 ml warm water
225 g flour
pinch of salt
2 tablespoons of olive oil

Mix yeast, sugar and water in a small bowl, set aside for about 10 min and let it rise.
Mix flour and salt in a larger bowl, make a small dent in the middle and pour oil and yeast mix. Mix until you have a smooth dough (I usually do this by hand but using a kitchenaid is just fine). Cover bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise for approx. 30 minutes. Knead thoroughly and flatten on a greased cookie sheet.
