First Day At School

Today was my first day at school! But it was:

 

A SNOW DAY!!!

 

Which means I woke up early, just to find out that I would stay at home for the day.

Heute war mein erster Schultag! Aber es war:

 

SCHNEEFREI!!!

 

Das bedeutet, ich bin früh aufgestanden, nur um herauszufinden, dass ich heute zu Hause bleiben werde.

 

 



 

A Walk in the Park

Today we went for another short hike at the beach. This time it was Cove Island Park in Stamford, CT. Beautiful sunshine, lots of frozen snow, temperature about 0° C.

Heute waren wir wieder für einen kurzen Spaziergang am Strand, dieses mal am Cove Island Park in Stamford, CT. Strahlender Sonnenschein, ganz viel gefrorener Schnee, bei etwa 0° C.

Aquarium Visit

Yesterday, Dad and I went to the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium! It is small, but very nicely done.



 

 

 



 

We watched the seals being fed and learned a lot about them. It was very interesting and fun. We had the opportunity to touch stingrays, a horseshoe crab and a starfish. The aquarium focuses on the animals that live in the Long Island Sound. It was really cool to see how many species live in this area!I had a great day and can't wait to go back!

Gestern, waren Papa und ich im Aquarium in Norwalk! Es ist klein, aber sehr schön gemacht.

Wir haben zugeschaut, wie die Seehunde gefüttert wurden und haben viel über sie gelernt. Es war sehr interessant und hat ganz viel Spaß gemacht. Wir konnten Rochen, eine Krabbe und einen Seestern anfassen. Das Aquarium widmet sich den Tieren, die im Long Island Sund leben. Es war richtig cool zu sehen, wie viele verschiedene Arten in dieser Gegend leben! Ich hatte einen tollen Tag und freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal!
